Description

Polyphenol Resveratrol is a substance found in grapes. It has been clinically proven to inhibit the cellular events that start the growth of a tumor. By stopping tumor initiation, promotion and progression, Polyphenol Resveratrol is able to block all three mechanisms of cancer formation.

The British Journal of Cancer reports that the body converts Polyphenol Resveratrol into an anticancer agent that can target and kill cancer cells.

There is an enzyme in tumors known as CYP1B1. This enzyme converts Polyphenol into piceatannol, Resveratrol a substance with documented anticancer activity. Piceatannol can force cancer cells to die early, an event called adiposis. Most exciting, the premature cell death caused by Polyphenol Resveratrol was limited to cancer cells, leaving normal cells unharmed.

Polyphenol Resveratrol also acts against a component of the western diet that promotes cancer cell growth; linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is converted to arachidonic, which is converted to hormone like substances that can promote inflammatory processes that stimulate cell growth, among other things. It has been shown that the western diet can cause colon cancer without any other chemical or factors being necessary.

In a study from Japan, Polyphenol Resveratrol in an amount easily obtained by supplementation, inhibited the growth of breast cancer cells, and blocked the growth-promoting effects of linoleic acid from the western diet. Polyphenol Resveratrol works against a wide range of cancers both as the preventative and treatment stages. Its ability to stop cancer is connected to its capability, first, to distinguish a cancer cell from a normal cell. Unlike chemotherapeutic drugs that affect normal as well as cancer cells, Polyphenol Resveratrol does not damage healthy cells. Not only is Polyphenol Resveratrol not harmful to normal cells, it protects them. Second, Polyphenol Resveratrol is sophisticated in its actions. It doesn’t just scavenge free radicals, it activates and deactivates genes, hormones and chemicals.

Heart/Blood Vessels and Polyphenol Resveratrol

When researchers deconstruct heart disease, they see many different things happening at the level of the cell. Cholesterol and other fat-related substances are one small part of a bigger picture that involves many other factors. Fortunately, many facets of heart disease can be controlled through dietary means. Polyphenol Resveratrol is a dietary agent that has powerful and diverse effects on the heart and blood vessels.

One of the serious complications of free radical damage is hardening and thickening of arteries. A “vicious cycle” of radicals, artery damage, and narrowing due to scar tissue that, in turn, promotes more free radical activity and more damage, has been described. Reserveratrol’s antioxidant action helps stop free radical damage and opens the arteries by enhancing nitric oxide.

Nitric oxide is a critical component of heart/artery function. It allows blood vessels to “relax,” which enhances blood flow. In a 2003 study, a high-cholesterol diet decreased nitric oxide by about a third. Polyphenol Resveratrol supplements significantly reversed the trend.

Finally, Polyphenol Resveratrol also stops the proliferation of cells in blood vessels that narrow the arteries, and it also keeps blood cells from sticking together. Both are very important for preventing heart attacks.

Alzheimer’s and Polyphenol Resveratrol

It was shown that Polyphenol Resveratrol possesses a “novel mechanism” for scavenging radicals. Might this novel mechanism protect the brain from free radical-driven diseases like Alzheimer’s?

Although the research is very preliminary, studies indicated that Polyphenol Resveratrol may be particularly important for those at risk for Alzheimer’s, or those who have it. It is theorized that free radicals might initiate the process that leads to the disease. The brain is composed mostly of fatty acids, and just as the heart needs to be protected against oxidized fat, so does the brain.

Alzheimer’s patients produce an abnormal peptide (a piece of a protein) knows as “beta-amyloid” in their brains. Beta-amyloid provokes oxidative stress, and eventually cells are killed because of the abnormally high levels of free radicals. The killing of brain cells causes the gradual decline in Alzheimer’s patients. It has been proven that Polyphenol Resveratrol can protect the brain against oxidative stress, and keep cells alive.

Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke and Polyphenol Resveratrol

A study by Chinese researchers is notable. If confirmed by other researchers, it could be very important for people who undergo serious brain/spinal trauma or stroke. In these types of injuries, the body’s response causes further injury, and for that reason, people are treated with drugs like cortisone, and in the case of stroke-aspirin. The idea is to reduce the body’s inflammatory response to the injury.

The study from China showed that Polyphenol Resveratrol reversed the signs of inflammatory response to spinal cord injury on a level comparable to prednisone (a steroid used to reduce inflammation), but with better energy compensation and protection against free radicals, when injected immediately after injury. Besides helping to ameliorate this type of injury through free radical blockage, Polyphenol Resveratrol actually inhibits specific enzymes that change the way individual cells respond to the injury. It’s possible that if a person regularly takes supplemental Polyphenol Resveratrol, they will be more likely to withstand a stroke or other injury to the brain. This has been demonstrated in rodents pretreated 21 days with Polyphenol Resveratrol. Less motor damage and less brain damage occurred post-stroke.

Polyphenol Resveratrol Activates a Longevity Gene

In a widely publicized report, researchers at Harvard Medical School and BIOMOL Research Laboratories have demonstrated that Polyphenol Resveratrol activates a “longevity gene”.

Polyphenol Resveratrol’s ability to activate the gene has to do with its chemical structure, not its antioxidant potential. It works by increasing the rate of a reaction known as “deacetylation.” Acetylation reactions affect whether a gene is “off” or “on.” This is extremely important. In cancer cells, for example, genes are activated that aren’t supposed to be, and vice versa. By controlling deacetylation, and augmenting the longevity gene, Polyphenol Resveratrol is able to confer some serious life extension benefits – at least in lower critters.

One of the known causes of aging and death is that older cells lose their ability to perfectly replicate DNA in every new cell. DNA “mistakes” accumulate and allow little pieces of DNA to become active and print themselves out, so to speak, creating a type of “DNA debris” that eventually stops a cell from functioning. It is similar to printing out a report and having a couple of pages at the end not contain any relevant information – so you throw them away. The cell can’t throw away the extra “printed out” DNA; it accumulates and clogs up the cell. This build up of “debris” is connected to aging, and the death of individual cells. Polyphenol Resveratrol reduces the frequency of “DNA debris” by 60% through the longevity gene that it stimulates.

SUMMARY:

The research on Polyphenol Resveratrol is so voluminous that it’s not possible to cover it in one article. In addition to the benefits mentioned previously, Polyphenol Resveratrol has been tested for its ability to stop pain, stop the growth of the bacteria that causes stomach ulcers that can lead to cancer (Helicobacter pylori), protect immune cells, protect DNA, protect against skin cancer, and many other conditions. As pointed out earlier, Polyphenol Resveratrol has become the first-ever supplement known to activate a longevity gene.

Polyphenol Resveratrol is one of the most versatile and effective plant compounds discovered so far. Polyphenol Resveratrol represents a novel solution to many common problems encountered by aging humans.

Newly published research confirms that nutrients such as Polyphenol Resveratrol, ECGC (a green tea Polyphenol), and indole-3-carbinol (I3C) are potent cancer inhibitors and may be valuable in both preventing and treating the disease. The International Journal of Cancer recently put I3C (indole-3-carbinol) on the fast track when researchers at the University of Maryland discovered that the vege-compound suppresses a protein that speeds up the growth of cancer cells. The protein, known as MUC1, shows up in 90% of all breast, lung, pancreas, prostate, stomach, colon, and ovarian cancers. I3C suppressed the cancer-enhancer protein almost 80%.

I3C is just one of the anti-cancer factors in broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables such as Brussels sprouts and cabbage. The MUC1 report is the latest that links cruciferous vegetables to significant health benefits. One serving of certified organic cruciferous vegetables may protect against cancer better than all the other fruits and vegetables on a person’s plate combined.

POWERFUL PROTECTION AGAINST PROSTATE CANCER This article is for any man concerned about prostate cancer. Polyphenol Resveratrol is a supplement that blocks prostate cancer at every stage, from beginning to end. It is now considered a leading agent against Prostate Cancer by researchers at Houston’s MD ANDERSON CANCER CENTER and other institutions. This supplement has several mechanisms that stop cancer cells from multiplying and has the ability to destroy cancer cells.

In one review of Polyphenol Resveratrol, University of Wisconsin researchers set out six criteria for a good anticancer agent.

(1) It should have no toxic effects in healthy cells.

(2) It should work against different types of cancers.

(3) It should be taken orally.

(4) It should have known mechanisms of action.

(5) It should be inexpensive.

(6) It should be acceptable to humans.

Polyphenol Resveratrol meets all six criteria.

Prostate Cancer and Diet Evidence has shown that diet may determine whether a man might get prostate cancer and whether he will survive it. Plant foods are cancer protective while animal foods tend to be cancer promoters. Can the negative effects of animal foods be offset by plant foods? Studies of Seventh-Day Adventists suggest that it is unlikely. Adventists are vegetarians but consume large amounts of dairy products and their rate of prostate cancer is high. Studies show that consuming three or more glasses of milk a day more than doubles the risk of prostate cancer. Studies show that the growth hormones implanted in American cattle are stronger than the human body’s natural hormones. In France and Switzerland where cattle hormone implants are banned, the incident of prostate cancer are 50% less than in the U.S. In Italy, and Greece, it is about 75% below the U.S. Rate. Polyphenol Resveratrol on the other hand has multiple anti-prostate cancer effects. Polyphenol Resveratrol halts the grown of hormone positive and negative cancers, works through multiple mechanisms to stop cancer cells from multiplying, is effective from the earliest to the latest stages of cancer, protects DNA from damage and may inhibit cancer metastasis. Combined with the powerful hormonal agent I3C and ECGC, Polyphenol Resveratrol may be the best cancer preventative approach available today.  Dr. Tom's propriority blend formula is perfectly formulated for maximum benefit.
